Then the rest of the series will be coming later this year, some of which are for the PS Plus Premium classic games library only: Yakuza Kiwami 2 | August | PlayStation Plus Extra / Premium Game Library.Yakuza Kiwami | August | PlayStation Plus Extra / Premium Game Library.Yakuza 0 | August | PlayStation Plus Extra / Premium Game Library.Sad to say it seems they spent more money on music than gameplay. It was crazy good and fit the setting perfectly. The only thing I really enjoyed was the fucking soundtrack. And it wasn’t the same thing over and over again. Like with Mafia 2 there was more of enjoyment because the variety of missions. I believe they could of made the game more dynamic. The game lost its taste for me after I realized I was doing the same thing over and over again Capture an area in the city and assign that part to one of the 3 new crime bosses. After this I felt I was doing the same thing over and over again to follow the ending I knew was gonna happen anyways. I quickly realized I was wrong it was a great game for the first few hours of gameplay. I gave the game a try still because it’s Mafia fucking 3. It seems more authentic, and could of continued the story with Vito, and joe. I was expecting a game like Mafia 3 did not follow at all.įor starters I still believe they should of stick with the Italian Mafia. For me it was good, but far from great or amazing. Mafia 3 is a poorly-average-to-good game, depending on your mileage with the game and your tastes. Things like stripping out customization and open world interacction from day one (only to get patched in later on) shows just how.misguided, perhaps, Hangar 13 was in trying to build an open world game. Hangar 13 did a lot of things that I completely disagree with, and I feel in a lot of ways, small changes would've helped this game a lot, and not just more development time but some existential questions about who was in the game, who they were, and what they did. I love Mafia III, but that doesn't mean it's a prefect game. There are some people who can only see the flaws and aren't able to get into the game and then there's the others who can look past the problems. We both agreed on all of the same flaws and same strengths, but for some reason we arrived at opposite conclusions about the film despite the two of us having very similar tastes when it comes to movies. My brother and I went and saw Star Wars recently: I enjoyed it, he didn't. I love the whole game and especially the 60's New Orleans vibe it gives off.Īnyway though, I would love to hear your comments and thoughts on the game as well! So to wrap it all up, I don't think this is a bad game. I haven't faced any game breaking glitches either. Yes, I have experienced some glitches like stretching limbs and even some stupid stuff happening with the AI, but I didn't find this breaking the immersion or ruining the game. I also her people complaining about all the glitches. The driving is a bit clunky, but it isn't that bad.

It reminds me a bit of the Nemesis system in Shadow of Mordor and gives you full control of your approach and timing. The gameplay is said to be repetitive, but this aspect didn't bother me.

Tight controls, non-messy shooting and mediocre AI. To be completely honest, I thought it had pretty good gameplay. They say the narrative and OST are amazing but the other aspects of the game are unpolished.įirst of all, I hear people complain a lot about the gameplay. The problem is I hear people complaining about this game quite a lot. Since it came out, Mafia III was a blast for me, and I finished it two times.
